The Story Behind BudaBridge
I was born and raised in Hungary and moved to Toronto in 2022 at the age of 31. I still own an apartment in Budapest, visit regularly, and maintain close relationships with lawyers, agents, and property managers on the ground there. I know the city not as a tourist or a speculator, but as someone who grew up in it.
When I arrived in Canada, I was struck by how expensive and inaccessible the property market had become for ordinary investors. At the same time I kept watching Budapest, a city I love deeply, being systematically undervalued by international markets. Grand architecture, a growing professional class, strong rental demand, and prices still well below comparable European capitals.
BudaBridge exists to close that gap. To give North American buyers who are savvy enough to look beyond their own overheated markets a trusted, knowledgeable guide through the entire process of buying property in Hungary. Not a sales agent with a commission incentive. A concierge with aligned interests.
